Who is it for?

As CGC is a women community, we only allow women in our events. We are inclusive to trans-women too.

Our Speed Friending events are for adults, all ages over 18.

  • Speed friending is a structured and relaxed way to meet new people. You’ll have short, guided conversations with different attendees so everyone gets a chance to connect — no awkwardness.


  • No. This event is strictly focused on friendship and community, not dating.


  • Your ticket includes the full speed-friending experience, group activities, and a goodie bag.

  • Drinks will be available to purchase from the venue.

    We will bring some snacks to share with you, too.

  • Yes — you’re welcome to stay, chat and enjoy drinks at the venue after the main event finishes.

    Our Speed Friending usually lasts up to 3hours including breaks and activities.

  • Tickets are non-refundable but transferable to another eligible attendee (women, 18+) up to 24 hours before the event.

  • Yes. Tickets will be checked on arrival by a CGC admin member, so please ensure the ticket is in your name and make sure you bring your ID as the event is hosted in a bar.

  • Yes. The format is gentle, guided and supportive, with conversation prompts to help ease nerves.

  • No preparation needed — just come as you are.

We welcome trans women and anyone who identifies as a woman to attend our events and participate in our community.

By purchasing a ticket or attending an event, you agree to:
